The TEDAI Vienna Hackathon is dedicated to AI for Good and leans on the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It is sponsored by PwC and takes place at the Unido Headquarters in Vienna, Austria.
The Hackathon will run on Thursday, October 17 from 9AM to 4PM. Afterwards, you can access the TEDAI Vienna conference with your event pass.

We are searching for advocates, who can share their passion for a specific cause; for builders, who can create apps, websites or prototypes; and for designers, who can create graphics and user experiences.
No, it is not possible to apply for the Hackathon with a conference pass alone. The Hackathon requires a separate application and approval process due to the specific nature of the event and the limited number of participants allowed.
There is no registration fee for the hackathon.
Selected hackathon participants will receive a regular pass to attend TEDAI as an attendee.
You can only apply as an individual.
Hackathon attendees must attend in person.
The judging criteria for the hackathon will consider factors such as social value in accordance to the SDGs, innovation, technical complexity, practicality, user experience, and the overall quality of the AI solution developed during the hackathon. We will share the rubric that will be used by judges to evaluate participation. This will be shared closer to the hackathon date.
The winners will receive the opportunity to present their work at one of the official TEDAI Vienna panels during the Discovery Day on October 18.
The hackathon is only intended for selected participants.
