Workshop description
AI is getting cheaper to use. The choices around it are not getting simpler. Which work deserves a frontier model? Where is a smaller model enough? When does an agent create value, and when does it create cost, risk or a new bottleneck? This workshop turns those questions into a live decision game. Your table gets an Intelligence Budget and a business to run. You will allocate machine intelligence, decide where human judgment matters, then adapt as prices fall, agents gain autonomy and the system starts to behave differently. The point is not to spend the least. It is to get the most value from the intelligence you use. You will leave with a practical framework for allocating, routing and governing AI in your own organization, and a sharper question to take back to work: if machine intelligence becomes abundant, what becomes scarce? Ben
Ben is the co-lead Partner and CTO for PwC’s Tech Catalyst AI enabled technology unit, the home of our technical innovation capability covering our AI, Cloud Platform, DevOps and emerging technology consisting of ~800 highly experienced technical specialists. Within Tech Catalyst Ben, focuses on client facing technology innovation with a special focus on our Forward Deployed Engineers, who build rapid protypes through to production solutions. He is also responsible for our technology roadmap. His background is diverse, spanning lead technical positions in FTSE100 organisations, Head of Cloud engineering at SAP and prior to PwC, he ran a cloud native startup focused on transforming and operating large organisations into Cloud technologies. Ben is a self-professed 'Techie' through and through, with a background in data centres and network engineering and is a strong believer in keeping hands on and growing technical builder communities.
