AI Horror Shorts: TEDAI Community Awards
Workshop description
With Halloween arriving alongside the conference, the AI Horror Shorts session turns our attention to a more introspective question: what happens when technology meets our deepest fears, our most vivid imaginings, and our need to tell stories about them? For this discovery session, attendees will be equipped ahead of the conference with the tools and world-class guidance needed to create and submit their own short horror films. From these submissions, five standout works—selected by AI technologists Afro Futcha and Gabriella Chihan Stanley—will be screened and awarded at a vintage theatre near the venue. From unsettling atmospheres to psychological thrillers and experimental nightmares, each short film will explore a unique interpretation of horror in the age of AI. Welcome to the future of horror!
