Autonomous AI is progressing at pace. We explore the rise of agentic systems and the opportunities they present for rapid reinvention. Their effectiveness, however, hinges on strong infrastructure, trusted AI governance and people who can harness AI, to do more, better, faster. Mengchen Dong is a behavioral scientist and Research Scientist at the Center for Humans and Machines of the Max Planck Society. She earned her PhD in psychology and focuses AI ethics and governance across interpersonal, organizational, and societal contexts. Her research promotes a nuanced understanding of human-AI interactions, emphasizing the influence of personal circumstances and sociocultural backgrounds.
