Fernando Cardes

Fernando Cardes is an electrical engineer and postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich. His research spans microelectronics, sensing technologies, and bioelectronics. A current focus of his work is the development of content provenance technologies that help make digital content traceable and verifiable. This work seeks to strengthen trust in online information and address the growing challenges of deepfakes, synthetic media, and misinformation.
