Carissa Veliz

Carissa Véliz is an Associate Professor at the University of Oxford. She advises companies and policymakers around the world on privacy and the ethics of AI. She is a board member of the Proton Foundation. She is the author of the highly-acclaimed Privacy Is Power (an Economist book of the year, 2020). Her new book Prophecy was described as “The most important book you will read for years” by Roger McNamee, the tech investor and author.
